Well done to Ireland, it was a great final game.
Though I think Wales would have had a better chance of winning (the game) if Henson took the penalty at the end, it was fairly central ans he definately has the range.

The worse thing is that we were 3 points from coming 2nd, but came 4th! :fp:

I wondered why he didn't take it. I can only imagine that he bottled out.

I watched that amidst plenty of English, Scottish, Irish and Welsh supporters, all knew their rugby or sat and were quiet, had a BBQ on outside, lots of beer on ice.

That was a lovely day, and I'd be out celebrating coming runners up (much to the Welshies' anguish) if it weren't for my none functioning leg.

Congrats to Ireland, England, France, Wales, Scotland and Italy. Some cracking 2009 Six Nations rugby.

That was outstanding. Great game, Wales threw everything at Ireland and the game was played at 100 miles per hour from start to finish. Couldnt believe Kidneys modesty, post match interview and he was thanking all the underage coaches for their efforts, the most humble man Ive ever seen.

Have to say the Grand Slam was well deserved. Come on Ireland!

Well done Ireland thoroughly deserved the slam, I was sitting next to 2 Irish lads singing with them inbetween the friendly banter, what great strawberry floating day even though we lost, enjoyed drinks before and afterwards. There were Rugby fans in their Hundreds of Thousands, never seen Cardiff so packed but I didnt see a single bit of aggression.

And this is why it's such a great game - very heartening !
